Bodmin Jail is a stone building that was built in 1776 as the county jail. After closing in 1927, it became a tourist attraction with exhibits about the 150 years of punishment in its ominous past.

Bodmin Moor is a 208 kmē moorland in northern Cornwall that dates back to the carboniferous period in geological history. Barrows, stone circles and granite tors stand scattered around the area from the Bronze Age, when it was densely populated. |
